Hot Girls Don't GateKeep: 5 Habits To Get Healthier Hair
Your hair is your crowning glory, so you want to do everything you can to keep it looking its best.
Here are some tips on how to get healthy hair and the best hairstyles to flatter your face:
1. Get regular trims.
If your hair is damaged, you might have split ends. This happens when the hair strand splits into two parts, or when the hair fiber splinters into multiple parts.
While you don’t need to get a haircut every week, you should aim to get a trim every 6-8 weeks.
While you can't completely avoid split ends, you can help prevent them from getting worse by getting regular haircuts.
This will get rid of any split ends and help keep your hair looking healthy.
2. Use the right shampoo.
There are many different types of shampoo available on the market, so it is important to find ones that are tailored to your specific hair type.
If you have oily hair, for example, you should look for a clarifying shampoo that can help to remove excess oil. Below are some links to the best clarifying shampoos:

3. Don’t wash your hair every day.
It's true that too much oil can be bad for your hair, but some oil is necessary to keep it healthy. Washing your hair too often can strip it of its natural oils, making it drier and more prone to breakage.
One of the best ways to make your hair shiny is by washing it less often. This will help prevent it from getting dry and preserve its luster.
In addition, if you wash your hair too often in hot water, it can make your scalp dry and lead to dandruff. To prevent this, try to washing your hair every other day or three times a week instead of every day.
If you must wash it daily, use a gentle shampoo and conditioner.
4. Avoid heat styling tools whenever possible.
Heat styling tools can damage your hair, so it is best to avoid them whenever possible. If you must use them, try to find tools that don't require heat.
Instead, try air-drying your hair, which will take longer but will be better for your hair in the long run.
To speed up the process, you can first dry your hair with a microfiber towel. But be gentle so you don't cause more tangles, split ends, and breakage.
5. Do regular deep conditioning treatments.
If you use a lot of heat to style your hair, it's important to use deep conditioning treatments regularly.
Deep conditioning treatments help to hydrate and nourish your hair, keeping it healthy. This will help your hair stay healthy and prevent damage.
A conditioning mask is an easy way to do this. Just apply it to your wet hair instead of your regular conditioner, let it sit for a few minutes, then rinse it off.
Or you can just leave your conditioner for 30 minutes and use it as a hair mask! That’s what I do when I don’t have any hair masks.
Below are my favourite hair masks:
Olaplex - N*3 Hair Perfector
I use this as a weekly treatment that has helped my hair to become stronger, reduce breakage, and make it look and feel healthier. This is a miracle product!
Amika - the Kure intense bond repair mask
If you have heat damaged or processed hair, Amika's The Kure Intense Bond Hair Repair Mask is a great option. The mango, shea butter, borage oil, and sea buckthorn in the formula work together to revive dry or broken hair.
